Cheltenham Festival

Cheltenham Festival 2018 is nearly here! Running from the 13th to the 16th of March, Cheltenham Races are one of the most exciting meetings in the calendar, with prize money second only to the Grand National. That means it’s time to look at the runners and riders, so you know your Cheltenham betting is set for success! We have the most up to date Cheltenham odds for every race, as well as Cheltenham results as they arrive, so you can then place your bets with Genting and watch the winners come in! Cheltenham Festival dates back to 1860 and it was first held at Market Harborough as the National Hunt Chase. It’s grown into a racing institution and every racing enthusiast should experience the Cheltenham Roar! Day One is a favourite, with three central races attracting lots of betting and giving watchers a huge spectacle. The Supreme Novices Hurdle, the Arkle Chase and the Champion Hurdle are the tent-pole races, with showings from new runners and people at the peak of their careers! On Day Two the main event is the Queen Mother’s Champion Chase. This is the most busy betting event of the day, but also worth your time is the RSA Chase. The winner here is worth watching as they have to be a world class rider. Day Three hosts the increasingly popular Stayers Hurdle, with it’s emphasis on skill and judgement rather than mere speed. It’s an interesting race for riders so watch the odds carefully. On Day Four we have the biggest race of the meet, the Cheltenham Gold Cup. While the Grand National might have a bigger prize and be better known, the racing community knows this is the most prestigious event of the season!
